2. Object and Scope of Application
These General Conditions of Sale regulate the purchase and sale of products (teas, accessories and utensils) carried out in the online store boloarte.pt between the “Seller” and the “Customer” (final consumer).
Browsing the website, as well as purchasing any product, implies acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale.
3. Product and Price Information
3.1. Products: Boloarte is committed to presenting products as accurately as possible, providing images and detailed descriptions (origin, type of sheet, method of preparation). However, as tea is a natural product and accessories (such as clay teapots) are often handcrafted, there may be slight visual or texture differences that do not affect the quality of the product.
3.2. Prices: All prices indicated on the website are presented in Euros (€) and include VAT at the legal rate in force in Portugal.
- Boloarte reserves the right to change prices at any time, however, the price indicated at the time of order confirmation applies.
- Shipping costs (postage) are calculated separately and presented before completing the purchase.
4. Order and Payment
4.1. To place an order, the Customer must add the products to the “Shopping Cart” and follow the steps to finalize the order, providing the necessary data for invoicing and shipping.
4.2. Payment Methods: We offer the following payment methods:
- ATM Reference (if applicable);
- MB WAY (if applicable);
- Credit/Debit Card;
- Bank Transfer;
- [OTHER METHODS, EX: PAYPAL].
4.3. The order will only be processed after payment confirmation. If payment is not made within [X] days, the order will be cancelled.
5. Shipping and Delivery
5.1. Deadlines: Orders are shipped from Portugal. Estimated processing time is 1 to 2 business days. After dispatch, delivery time varies depending on the carrier, normally being:
- Continental Portugal: 24 to 48 business hours.
- Islands (Azores and Madeira): 3 to 5 working days (depending on the service chosen).
5.2. Boloarte is not responsible for delays resulting from strikes, natural phenomena or logistical problems beyond our company’s control (responsibility of the carrier).
6. Right to Free Resolution (Returns)
According to Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the consumer has the right to freely terminate the contract (return the product) within 14 consecutive days from the date of receipt of the order, without the need to indicate a reason.
Return conditions:
- Products must be returned in their original condition, sealed and without signs of misuse.
- Important Exception: For reasons of health protection and hygiene, we do not accept the return of tea packaging that has been opened, seals broken or otherwise handled, except in the case of a proven quality defect.
- Return costs are borne by the Customer, unless there is an error on our part or a defect in the product.

7. Warranty (Accessories)
Non-consumable products (such as teapots, cups, trays) benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in the applicable legislation (Decree-Law no. 84/2021), which covers manufacturing defects. Damage caused by misuse (e.g. ceramic breakage due to falling or undue thermal shock) is excluded from the warranty.
